MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. — Fresh off the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk, the straits area is tuning up once again for a multi-mile trek on foot. This Saturday, September 10, marks the 46th edition of the Mackinac Island Eight Mile event.
The run, which is also open to walkers, begins and ends at Mission Point Resort, just east of the downtown area. It will completely circle the island, allowing runners and walkers to enjoy its full beauty.
The main eight-mile run and walk will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by a Kids Fun Run at 11:30 AM.
