Fifteen years have passed since cowardly terrorists struck the World Trade Centers and Pentagon in the deadliest attack on U.S. soil.
On this day, pray for the 2,996 people who perished on September 11th, 2001, and the 6,000 others who were injured.
Remember the fallen: the innocent moms and dads, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives, and the brave heroes who woke up on an ordinary Tuesday morning and found the courage to give their lives to save their fellow Americans.
Today we pledge allegiance to the American flag, respect it, and we stand and remove our caps for our National Anthem and remember the patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep this country free.
This country belongs to its people—all of its people. Americans come together in times of adversity and we persevere. Because the American spirit unites us all.
